Hand cut stars from waste leather, strung on off-cuts of deadstock gold silk.
Two tabs for easy festooning.
I hand prepare the ribbons from my own quilt making off-cuts. Often hand dyed, the colours of my sustainably sourced linens, silks and cottons are always changing. As with the leather colours, I take a lot of care over finding the best combinations with these limited materials. Each colour-way is unique! Mini garlands are great as gifts, in kids rooms and small wall spaces in need of astral attention.
