NEW 02/2026

To my lovely overseas customers many thanks for your understanding in this very complex, changeable time for small businesses.

US customers will see the 10% tariff added at checkout enabling me to pay this before it leaves the UK. Depending on your State there may be additional duties added, I cannot be responsible for these, please check if local rates apply before ordering.

I can now ship to the EU. I have invested in an EU representative so please be assured all safety compliance under the new regulations have been covered which makes customs a smoother process. Each country has a different import tax rate and duties. I cannot be responsible for these or pay them in advance. They will be due at customs who will contact you once the item is with you in your country. I recommend checking your local rates (eg France 20%, Spain 21% of the value) before making a purchase.

For all other overseas customers, please select the correct shipping at checkout. Again please check local duties that may be added once the item is in your country.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are considering a bespoke order from overseas or have any questions to do with shipping.

Fabrics

I source deadstock and end of line linens. This means they have been discarded or discontinued by the fashion and homewares’ industries and would otherwise go to waste. I keep my scraps and use them to create the appliqué shapes, tableware and packaging. I am also always in the lookout for great quality plain natural fabrics (cotton, linen, silk) repurposed from garments and soft furnishings etc. The batting I use to line the quilts is 100% cotton, chosen for it’s natural, soft and breathable qualities as well as being a great option for longevity.

Colour

I use a combination of natural and synthetic dyes, silk paint and ink pastels to colour and decorate in small batches. It is understood that the painting and dye processes are inherently variable and the lack of uniformity in hand-colouring is to be enjoyed. All dyed fabrics are pre washed before construction.

Bespoke Terms

All items are non-returnable.
The bespoke process includes an initial consultation and design stage, where the fabrics and layout of the quilt are agreed on. This process can be very quick or can take up to a couple of weeks depending on the project. Every effort is made to ensure this process is personal and straightforward, visual communication is mainly through photographs via email. Designs are proposed as fabric sketches and swatches can be sent by post during the process if requested. Once the design is agreed, and payment received, the construction process begins and there is no longer opportunity for design changes or a refund.
